Hulme CanAm, the Supercar from New Zealand. New Zealand has no car manufacture or car industry but the country is famous with Mecca in the motorsport.  But now, a company named Hulme is developing Hulme CanAm , the new supercar with F1 taste.  The name Hulme is to honor the famous Denny Hulme, the ex Fi racer from New Zealand.

When the rider is riding the Hulme CanAm, he will feel like driving the F1 car.  Hulme CanAm is only has one seat just like the other F1 car.  Hulme CanAm is still in the developing process and the company targets the process for five years.  Now the process is entering the testing step.

Hulme CanAm is funded by Jock Freemantle, a rich businessman who is interested in automotive. The supercar is built to honor Denny Hulme for his twice winning in CanAm Championship.

Hulme CanAm is using the GM’s LS7 V8 engine completed with supercharger. No wonder this 1.000 kg car is predicted to has 600 hp (448 kW) powers.

Hulme CanAm is only one of Hulme product.  The company is also producing the other two product which are Hulme Spyder and Hulme F1. the company still choosing the right engine for these two car.

The management expect that Hulme Spyder will be complete in 2010. While Hulme F1 is planning to have the two seat so it is close to the roed car. Freemantle estimate the price of Hulme CanAm for about US$390.000. So, are you interested with this supercar?
